CAUSE’s Vote Center Food Crawl (VCFC) + Challenge showcases the accessibility of vote centers and highlights nearby local businesses aiming to increase voter turnout. The VCFC challenged continued in the 2024 general election in November with CAUSE’s First-Ever Together We Vote Fest.

Check out Vote Centers and Local Food Spots the CAUSE network recommend visiting, specifically in CA State Senate District 25.

CA State Senate District 25 has the highest Asian Citizen Voting Age Population (CVAP) in Southern California at 30%. With the highest Asian CVAP in Southern California, State Senate District 25 offers an important opportunity for API advocates and community members to make their voices heard in the upcoming election.

  • Vote centers replace traditional polling centers. Voters have the freedom to cast a ballot in-person at any vote center in their county instead of being assigned to a single polling location. Vote centers look and feel like polling places, but provide additional modern features to make voting easy and convenient. (Source: CA Secretary of State Website)

  • At any vote center in a participating county, a voter may:

    • Vote in-person

    • Drop off their ballot

    • Get a replacement ballot

    • Vote using an accessible voting machine

    • Get help and voting material in multiple languages (up to 18 different languages)

    • Register to vote or update their voter registration

  • 1️⃣ Visit a local food spot within a one (1) mile from an official Vote Center

    2️⃣ Take a photo of the food you bought and/or the business you want to highlight

    🌟 If possible, include a photo with your “I Voted” sticker!

    3️⃣ Share the photo(s) with CAUSE either through Instagram or Email, include the name of the business and the name of the Vote Center located nearby
